Based in Philadelphia, we draw inspiration from the seasons of the Northeast, our landscape, and the stories of those we work with. We always look for the unexpected in our environment to add pops of color or intrigue. Operating from the space between urban and wild, we love textures, movement, and working with nature instead of suppressing it.
While Philadelphia is our much-loved home base, we’re down to travel for work that aligns with our mission.
ABOUT ZIEMIA
Ziemia, pronounced ZHEHM-yah, is Polish for land, ground, soil. We prioritize locally grown flowers, working closely with our regional growers and will ethically forage when the seasons allow. Every stem is chosen with care and respect for the land it comes from.

I was a wild child. Climbing a fence to get to the daisies surrounding the lake. Getting out of my seat in the middle of class to admire all of the green I could see through the window.
Not much has changed. I still climb fences and let myself be distracted by what I see outside, drawing inspiration from the seemingly uninspiring. Where some may see kumquats spilled on the floor, I see still life.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Bucks County, PA, I grew up camping, hiking, and spending most of my free time outdoors. In high school, I completed an Ornamental Horticulture program which led me to my calling.
In the 20 years since, I have worked with and learned from the best in this business, creating events both magnificent and intimate. I’ve collaborated on the success of some of the top event companies in the Philadelphia area. My career has led me from Philadelphia to New York City, Chicago, and Detroit.
